Woman arrested
for retail theft
ELIZABETHVILLE — A Tower City woman faces retail theft charges, after state police at Lykens reported she attempted to take various items March 26 from Wal-Mart in Washington Township without paying for them.
Danielle Marie Miller, 31, was arrested for attempting to remove the items valued at $54.17 from the store at 200 Kocher Lane, at 2 p.m., police said.
During the course of an investigation, it was discovered that Miller had conducted several thefts in the past, according to police.
Charges are being filed with District Magisterial Judge Rebecca J. Margerum, Elizabethville.
Tower City man
faces theft charges
WILLIAMSTOWN — State police at Lykens charged a Tower City man with theft, after he took a wallet out of a shopper’s cart at the Dollar General in Williams Township, police report.
According to police, a woman from Valley View left her wallet in a shopping cart and walked out of the store sometime between 6:30 and 6:45 p.m. March 23. Charles Miller noticed the wallet in the cart, police said, and took the wallet out of the cart and left the store.
Miller was charged with theft, theft of property mislaid and receiving stolen property, according to police.
Charges against Miller were filed with District Magisterial Judge Rebecca J. Margerum, Elizabethville.
Gratz woman
arrested for theft
ELIZABETHVILLE — State police at Lykens filed retail theft charges against a Gratz woman, following an incident April 4 at Wal-Mart in Washington Township.
Police said Tiffany Ann Webster, 25, was arrested for attempting to walk out of the store at 5 p.m. at 200 Kocher Lane with various concealed retail items which she had not paid for.
Police were filing charges against Webster with District Magisterial Judge Rebecca J. Margerum, Elizabethville.
Man disrupts
business at CVS
ELIZABETHVILLE — A man was charged with disorderly conduct by state police at Lykens following an incident at the CVS drug store in Washington Township, Dauphin County.
Christopher Robin Geier, no age or address provided, entered the store at 4686 Route 209 and removed a soda from a shelf, ordered a prescription, drank half the soda and attempted to hide the opened bottle among other merchandise, police said.
The shift manager then confronted the man about the attempted theft after which time Geier became belligerent, yelled at the staff and used profanity, police said.
The following day, the man returned and again disrupted store business by being belligerent with the staff and soliciting money from other customers. The incident occurred between the hours of 4 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. March 9 to March 11, according to police, who are continuing their investigation.
