SHENANDOAH — A Gilberton man charged with an assault at Tina’s Flower Shop on South Main Street in Shenandoah on Feb. 3 had charges against him held for court during a preliminary hearing before Magisterial District Judge Anthony J Kilker.
Joseph Lewandowski, 55, of 1020 Main St., was arrested by Shenandoah police Patrolman Joshua Pastucka and charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person, harassment and disorderly conduct.
Kilker determined the commonwealth proved a prima facie case and ordered all charges against Lewandowski held for Schuylkill County Court.
Pastucka charged Lewandowski with choking, punching and hitting his daughter, Amanda Lewandowski, in the head and also hitting the woman’s head off a glass pane window. Pastucka also charged the man with pushing his wife, Tina Lewandowski, causing her to hit her head on a concrete sidewalk.

Nathaneal L. Cruz, 20, of State Correctional Institution/Mahanoy, Frackville — waived for court: possession with intent to manufacture or deliver a controlled substance and contraband-controlled substance.
Gabriel I. Pittman, 41, of SCI/Houtzdale, Houtzdale — waived for court: aggravated assault, simple assault and harassment.
Marissa A. Garcia, 22, of 307 E. Mahanoy Ave., Mahanoy City — withdrawn: aggravated assault, simple assault and disorderly conduct.
Brett M. Kline, 22, of 333 E. Centre St., Shenandoah — withdrawn: resisting arrest. Waived for court: possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance and tampering with or fabricating physical evidence.
Corey Anne Pronio, 21, of 118 Raven Run Road, Box 148, Lost Creek — withdrawn: reckless driving. Waived for court: DUI, DUI-highest rate and careless driving.
Jennifer M. Wentworth, 30, of 120 N. Bower St., Shenandoah — waived for court: possession of drug paraphernalia.
Krystle Lee Ketchledge, 25, of 227 Lafayette St., Apt. 2, Tamaqua — waived for court: possession with intent to manufacture or deliver a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, selling a controlled substance with a known trademark and altered, mutilated or destroyed labels.
Phillip J. Hahn, 72, of 124 E. Centre St., Apt. 1, Shenandoah — withdrawn: making repairs to or selling offensive weapons. Waived for court: possession of a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Glorian M. Montgomery, 52, of 511 Bear Creek Road, Schuylkill Haven — withdrawn: DUI, DUI-controlled substance, careless driving and restrictions on alcoholic beverages.
Elizabeth Ann Iacobucci, 43, of 18 S. Chestnut St., Shenandoah — withdrawn: hindering apprehension or prosecution. Waived for court: false reports.
Michael J. Conti Jr., 21, of 751 Aristes Road, Ringtown — waived for court: DUI-controlled substance, failure to stop at a red signal, driving while operating privileges are suspended or revoked and having a fictitious or altered driver’s license.
Brad C. Frye, 34, of Schuylkill County Prison, Pottsville — withdrawn: criminal attempt to commit robbery. Waived for court: criminal attempt to commit theft, recklessly endangering another person, endangering the welfare of children, criminal mischief and harassment.

TREMONT — A Berks County man who police allege tried to run from them in February in Hegins Township is headed to Schuylkill County Court on seven charges after waiving his right to a preliminary hearing Thursday.
Joshua J. Kimmel, 32, of 222 Chapel Terrace, Reading, faces charges of fleeing or eluding police, reckless driving, stop sign violation, failure to drive at a safe speed, careless driving, operating vehicle without valid inspection and failure to notify of change of address.
Magisterial District Judge David J. Rossi bound over all charges for court after Kimmel waived his right to the hearing. Rossi allowed Kimmel to remain free on $5,000 unsecured bail pending further court proceedings.
Hegins Township police charged Kimmel with leading them on a chase on Feb. 12 in the township.

Jesse J. Aungst, 25, of 518 Birds Hill Road, Pine Grove — driving under the influence, reckless driving, violation of restrictions on alcoholic beverages, improper driving at intersection and improper driving without lights; right to preliminary hearing waived, charges bound over for court.
Terry L. Knorr, 56, of 422 Broad St., Hegins — DUI, failure to keep right, disregarding traffic lane and careless driving; right to preliminary hearing waived, charge of careless driving withdrawn, other charges bound over for court.
Justin A. Lebo, 23, of 1435 Pulaski Ave., Coal Township — obstructing administration of law and hindering apprehension; right to preliminary hearing waived, charges bound over for court.
Kevin S. Wenner, 35, of 342 W. Laurel St. Apt. 2, Tremont — simple assault and harassment; charges withdrawn.
Shaun T. Wingle, 28, of 310 North St., Minersville — simple assault and harassment; charges withdrawn.
Timothy J. Wright, 49, of 210 E. Sheridan Ave., DuBois — DUI; charge held for court after preliminary hearing.
