There was no opposition on the ballot in Tuesday’s primary election for Schuylkill County’s legislative delegation to the state General Assembly.
Incumbent state Reps. Neal P. Goodman, D-123, Jerry Knowles, R-124, and Mike Tobash, R-125, all ran unopposed for their party’s nominations while no one ran in the opposite party’s primary.
State Sen. David Argall, R-29, also ran unopposed.
While there were write-ins in these races, none of the totals appeared to challenge the nomination of the candidates.
Goodman received 5,932 votes, Tobash had 7,758 votes and Knowles had 8,843 votes. Argall had 32,247 votes.
Results are unofficial until certified by the county election board, which will take place in several days.
