FRACKVILLE — A Ringtown man was jailed Tuesday after being arrested by state police on child pornography and drug charges.

Kristin Delorge, 41, of 131 Breisch Road, was charged by Trooper John Powis of the Computer Crime Unit with 20 felony counts of sexual abuse of children-possession of child pornography, one felony count each of possession with intent to manufacture or deliver a controlled substance and criminal use of a communications facility, two misdemeanor counts of possession of a controlled substance and one misdemeanor count of possession of drug paraphernalia.

He was arraigned by Magisterial District Judge Christina E. Hale, Frackville, and committed to Schuylkill County Prison, unable to post $100,000 straight cash bail.

Powis charged Delorge stemming from incidents at his home beginning on Dec. 20 and continuing through the time of his arrest.

Powis said that on Dec. 20, the Computer Crime Unit was conducting an undercover investigation into the Internet sharing of child pornography and was able to locate a computer that was sharing child pornography images on two separate websites.

The computer was found to be at the Delorge home and on March 7, Powis said, and a search warrant was obtained for that residence from Magisterial District Judge David J. Rossi, Tremont. The warrant was executed the following day, March 8.

The search yielded a laptop computer, desktop computers and cellphones as well as suspected drugs and drug paraphernalia, along with about $1,334.

During an interview, Powis said, Delorge admitted owning the drugs, drug paraphernalia and cash. When asked about the images of child pornography, Delorge acknowledged any such images found on laptop computer were his, Powis said.

Powis said that on Friday, he received the results of testing on the suspected drugs seized from the Delorge home. The tests determined that the drugs taken were confirmed as being methamphetamine and marijuana, the trooper said.

Delorge will now have to appear for a preliminary hearing tentatively scheduled for 10 a.m. May 11 before Hale in her Frackville courtroom.
