n Ashland: The Ashland Area Historic Preservation Society is selling chances on a lottery basket filled with $150 worth of instant lottery tickets. Chances are $1 each or six for $5. The drawing is slated for Sunday. For more information, call 570-875-2632.

n Auburn: The Keystone Wounded Warriors will stage a spring vendor and craft show from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 14 at the Christmas Pines Campground Pavilion, 450 Red Church Road. Admission is free and the event, which will be held rain or shine, will also include a mini-auction, food and beverages. Table fees will benefit KWW. For more information, call 57-617-6368.

n Cressona: The borough’s spring cleanup is set for 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. Residents must take their items to the borough hall and are required to unload their own vehicles. No contractors, tires, batteries, paint, oil or TVs. For more information, call 570-385-2933.

n Gilberton: Continental Hose Company No. 3 will hold a bleenie sale beginning at 11 a.m. Saturday at the firehouse, 229 Main St. In addition to bleenies, pizza, pierogies and beverages will also be on sale. All are welcome.

n Mar Lin: The Schuylkill County Interagency Coordinating Council will hold its monthly meeting at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Schuylkill Intermediate Unit 29, 17 Maple Ave. The council’s purpose is to promote a community-based collaboration that includes parents, professionals and providers of early intervention services as well as others interested in the health and welfare of children with developmental delays and/or physical mental handicapping conditions and their families. n Pine Grove: Annual enrollment to the Pine Grove Ambulance Association’s subscription drive is being held throughout May. Residents in the association’s coverage area — Pine Grove borough, Pine Grove and Washington townships and parts of Tremont and Wayne townships — will receive via mail a subscription enrollment form. A filled-out application and required monetary amount should be returned in the enclosed envelope. Subscription rates are $35 per family and $25 per adult. Subscription benefits are outlined in the flier. Forms are also available at Pine Grove banks or by calling 570-345-3004. Non-subscribers will be responsible for full costs of services and will be billed amounts not covered by insurance, according to an ambulance press release. Subscriptions mailed after May 31 will be subject to 30-day waiting period.

n Pottsville: The First Baptist Church, 701 Mahantongo St., will hold a free movie and snacks night featuring the movie “Flywheel” at 5:30 p.m. May 13. All are welcome. For more information, call 570-581-3084.

n Shenandoah: Francis Cardinal Brennan Council 618 Knights of Columbus regularly sponsors bingo games in Divine Mercy Roman Catholic Parish’s St. Stephen Hall, Main and Oak streets, which is accessible to the handicapped. Doors open at noon, bingo begins at 2 p.m. and food and refreshments are available. The council released the following bingo dates for 2016: May 15 and 22, June 12 and 26, July 10 and 24, Aug. 7 and 28, Sept. 11 and 25, Oct. 9 and 16, Nov. 6 and 13, and Dec. 4. The council also sponsors hoagie sales the second Tuesday of every month at the council home, 201 W. The council is a nonprofit organization and proceeds aid its charitable efforts.

n Tremont: The Tremont Fire Company will host wing night from 5 to 7 p.m. May 12. An order of jumbo wings includes celery and dressing. Flavors are mild, hot, naked, creamy hot, ranch, barbecue, honey mustard, spicy barbecue and parmesan peppercorn. Chicken tenders and french fries as well as takeouts will also be available.
