In order to eliminate a repeatedly hazardous situation for motorists and pedestrians in the area of North 18th Street and McBarron Street, the Pottsville Bureau of Police will be enacting the following traffic pattern change taking effect on Monday.
The 1800 block of McBarron Street will be one-way traffic westbound only from North 18th Street to mid-block, directly behind the Yorkville Pharmacy building.
Two way traffic will still be allowed to travel on McBarron Street between North 19th Street and the designated mid-block point.
Police said signage detailing the new traffic flow is being erected by the Pottsville Streets Department.
