Schuylkill County Crime Stoppers and Ashland police are asking for the public’s help in finding those responsible for a theft and vandalism incident earlier this month.
The crimes occurred sometime between Feb. 2 and 4 at the Ashland Little League field, police said.
Officers said someone forced his or her way into a storage shed and stole a green and yellow Yardman lawn tractor as well as baseballs and baseball equipment.
The thief or thieves also tried to break into a concession stand but was unsuccessful, forcing them to flee the area.
While committing the crimes, police said, damage was done to the doors on both the concession stand and storage shed.
Schuylkill County Crime Stoppers will pay up to $1,000 for information on the identity of those responsible for this crime or on any unsolved crime in Schuylkill County.
Callers are asked to refer to incident 02-14-16 when calling with information about the vandalism and theft in Ashland.
