There will be limited tickets sold at the door and there will also be a bake sale by WELCA.

n Frackville: Noreen O’Boyle of the Frackville Rotary Club said the next Cinderella’s Closet sale will be held from noon to 4 p.m. Feb. 28 in the Black Diamond Antique section of the Schuylkill Mall. Formal dresses are $10 each. Purses, shoes and accessories are $1 each. Cinderella’s Closet is a project initiated by Jessica Dalton when she was a student at North School High School. Dalton asked the Frackville Rotary to continue this service upon her graduation from high school.
n Heckscherville: Clover Fire Company, 8 Clover Road, will stage a breakfast from 7 a.m. to noon Sunday at the firehouse. The cost is $8 for adults and $3 for children.
n Mahanoy City: The Washington Hook and Ladder Fire Company will hold a spaghetti dinner fundraiser from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday at West End Fire and Rescue Company, 700 W. Mahanoy Ave. Patrons may eat in to take meals out. Free delivery will be available in the Mahanoy City area. The cost is $9 per meal, which includes spaghetti in sauce, choice of meatballs or sausage, salad, dessert and beverage. Patrons can pay at the door.
n Mahanoy City: The Mahanoy City Elks Lodge will have a deviled crab dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. Feb. 26 at the lodge, 135 E. Centre St. The cost is $9 and dinners will include two deviled crabs, macaroni and cheese, coleslaw, roll and butter and dessert. Patrons may eat at the lodge or take meals out. Walk-ins are welcome. n Pottsville: Schuylkill Health is offering a free multi-week program geared to help people at risk of becoming diabetic. Schuylkill Health, according to a press release, is part of the National Diabetes Prevention Program, a free, lifestyle-change program designed to help people prevent or delay Type 2 Diabetes. Programs are being offered beginning March 16 in Pottsville and March 14 in Mahanoy City. “Schuylkill Health is fortunate to have two certified diabetic educators,” Michelle Bensinger, RN, MSN, Schuylkill Health director of informatics and education. The diabetes educators will work with participants to learn skills to make lasting changes such as losing a modest amount of weight, being more physically active and managing stress. n Ringtown: The Ringtown Area Library is accepting donations of good-condition, gently used books, DVDs, jigsaw puzzles, board games and select magazines for the Friends of the Library’s annual used book sale to be held April 2 and 3 at the Schuylkill Mall, Frackville. Magazines are limited to women’s interest, hobby, outdoors, cooking, gardening and similar fare --- no National Geographic or any magazines more than three years old. No textbooks or encyclopedias will be accepted. Donations can be dropped off at the library, 132 W. Main St., during library hours: 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays and Thursdays, noon to 7 p.m. Tuesdays and Wednesdays and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays.
