McCann School of Business and Technology, 2650 Woodglen Road, is hosting a job search seminar at 4 p.m. Wednesday.
The free seminar will give people tips to land a job quickly.
“McCann hosts career workshops for the community a few times a year and we always receive positive feedback from participants,” Karen Damiter, career services director, said. “McCann’s job search seminar will give people advice on how to get noticed by employers and receive that initial call back after applying online.”
The seminar will provide participants with tips on how to effectively job search and use keyword searches online, make an online application stand out, submit an online application and the benefits of submitting a resume in person.
The event is free and open to the public. Due to limited seating, please call 570-391-3050 to register for the seminar.
